This is the gavel used by the notorious Texan "Hanging Judge", Judge Roy Bean, whose ghost communicates by banging the gavel down, once for "yes" and nothing for "no". A great gimmicked piece that is undetectable, cannot be worked by a spectator, and shows clean at all times.

Unusual prop in that it seems so incredibly ordinary and ungimmicked, yet it is a gimmick!
